I needed a quick to play map strategy game formy mobile device. I tried the ones on the market but reinforcingcountries, placing armies, and battles took too long. I would waitfor ten minute for the AI to finish so I could do my turn again. Iwasn’t satisfied so I made my own hybrid version of Risk that Icould play entire maps in 2 to 5 minutes and not have to spend mostof that time waiting for the AI to move.About Vengeance: Vengeance is a unique play on the classic boardgame Risk. Vengeance has been optimized for rapid expanse,reinforcement, and generation of new armies for your empire. Earnbonus armies by holding continents and defeating opponents.Discover your own strategies to best counter Vengeance’s four AIpersonalities. Risk your armies, go offensive, or build massivedefenses. Maps include special Holiday maps.To the reports of "Dice rolls are crap". I agree! I am sorryahead of time for the enevidable terrible loosing streak. I promicethere is no reason for me to add frustrating logic to a game Ienjoy playing. Vengeance is coded using the java random numbergenerator. If you can't stand loosing a dozen rolls in a row,please turn off the simple dice roll and turn on the loosing streakmidigation which stacks the odds attempting to avoid winning orloosing streaks. Eventually, I will be adding a battle log that youcan scroll back through to see just how bad or good your randomluck has been.In game, each player is given one army to place one at a time toset up the board. You are given 3 armies to start each turn. You asthe human have the advantage and get to go first. Attack winner isdetermined by random number generator giving 50/50 chance on firstattach. To help mitigate loosing or winning over and over, everyloss ups the dice roll to give a 10% advantage on the next roll.This stacks up to 3 times in attempt to avoid long streaks. Thisoption can be enable or disabled in the settings. In addition, a 5%defender initial advantage can be enabled or disabled in thesettings. Army size also helps during the attack. For every armythat you have over the other army, you are given a 2% advantage.This army advantage is also controllable from the settings.Vengeance is not a Risk clone. I created a game that would bequicker pace than Classic Risk. I wanted a game that could bepicked up and played in 5 minutes here or there without dedicatingtoo much time as most devices will be phones.
